Ancient Chronology

Chronology is the study of time. More specifically, it is the study of the dates of ancient events and how they relate to each other in time.

In the study of ancient history there is the conventional academic chronology, which has several variants, and there are also several minority positions such as the Chronological Framework of Ancient History (CFAH), Immanuel Velikovsky, and the New School of David Rohl.

The Associates for Biblical Research is a group of credentialed historians and archaeologists who uphold biblical inerrancy and creationism, while also defending the conventional chronology for Egypt, Babylon, and Sumer.

The Society for Interdisciplinary Studies is a group originally founded by Rohl, but which has forked from his group and has published a journal of chronology called SIS Review since the nineteen eighties.
